Join Masters of the Fly, and our friends Tony Friedrich and Blane Chocklett from the American Saltwater Guides Association for an important update on the state of our fishery in 2023. As the premier conservation organization representing the interests of the recreational angling community, ASGA led important scientific and policy work in 2022, including providing key input into the recently-passed Amendment 7 of the Striped Bass Management Plan. At the end of 2022, ASGA launched the first-ever false albacore-tagging program, which has already led to unprecedented insights about this important light-tackle gamefish. This session will provide all of us with an update on the most significant issues in fisheries science conservation, and how we can all stay informed and support this important work.
